What you learn: This course teaches people how to complete AND manage a commerical project across a server, with a team (your fellow classmates) producing the construction documents. We'll even have "the client" get involved and throw a couple of curves at the most inopportune times (just like real life)!!
We use the sheet set manager, associative annotation, reference files, inplace reference editing, layout/model space and other important tools to ensure project optimization and efficiency.
This class is well suited for EVERYONE who uses AutoCAD to assemble and submit projects to regulatory agencies for project processing and approval.
Course Project:
The class creates construction documents for a commercial building
project. Construction documents created include existing floor
plan, demo plans, new construction plans, enlarged plans, elevation, building and wall section, details
and schedules. Each course participant will be responsible for a separate component of the actual documentation process.
