What you learn: In this course, students explore the more advanced methods of documenting a project in Inventor.
The classes will be taught from the engineering manager’s perspective, but engineers and detailers can also gain valuable insight as the course unfolds.
Prerequisite: Inventor 1 and/or relevant industry experience..
Course Description: In this course, students explore Inventor's powerful tools for sheet metal design and innovative shape description tools that let the user seamlessly mix solids and surfaces to create stylized, sculpted parts. Topics include: sheet metal styles, sheet metal tools, creating flat patterns from sheet metal designs, surface lofts with rails, creating embossed text, and using the weldment environment. By the conclusion of this course, students will be able to create complex shape design and develop an Assembly model independently with an understanding about how to organize it as an integrated, interoperable manufacturing document set.
Autodesk Course e-certificate: Our cadteacher/vdci training courses are accredited by Autodesk. cadteacher/vdci is an Autodesk Authorized Training Center (ATC). At the completion of each course, students receive an industry-recognized e-certificate from Autodesk to confirm they have attended and successfully completed an accredited Autodesk course.
