What you learn:  In this course, students focus on understanding the inter-relationships between STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS in a set of construction documents.

The classes will be taught from an engineer's point of view. Many people working in the field will significantly benefit by learning why an enginer documents his/her work as they do.

Prerequisite:  Blueprint Reading 1 and/or relevant industry experience..

Course Description:  Topics include site work, footings, foundations, hold-downs, seismic considerations, lateral and shear transfer, roof framing design, structural detailing and structural calculations.
