INTRODUCTION

This is a hands-on introduction to Google SketchUp, on the Windows platform.

This course will walk through the basics of the software and develop preliminary design models and massing. For SketchUp 1, the course goes thru importing images and using those as references to develop site massing models and importing .DWGs to facilitate the 3D modeling of a basic exterior and interior of a building.

Through the course we will learn about strategies and techniques to develop speed and efficiency in modeling and presentations.
